Who doesn't like a water ride? Here are 3 great ones from around the world.
Number 3
The Jumeirah Sceirah at the Wild Wadi Waterpark in Dubai is a unique slide. Adrenaline junkies climb to the top of a 105 foot high tower. Two capsules reside at the peak. The floor eventually opens up and drops the anxious visitors down the slide, allowing them to reach roughly 50 miles per hour going down.
Number 2
Galveston, Texas is home to the Twin Twisters ride at Schlitterbahn park. Once visitors climb up the tower, two enclosed, intertwined slides await. They group around each other, allowing for continuous turns. The slide pumps out about 900 gallons of water, pushing guests forward at about 35 miles per hour.
Number 1
Santa Claus, Indiana houses the Mammoth ride at Holiday World and Splashin' Safari. While it's not the fastest or most extreme adventure, the cruise has landed the record for the World's Longest Water Coaster. Taking guests up 7 stories, the ride spans about 1/3rd of a mile. 6-passenger round boats help achieve maximum speed while zooming through the twists, turns and drops.
