On June 12th, 2013, construction began on a project called Dinner in the Sky Las Vegas. The end result will be a high-flying way for both tourists and residents to enjoy panoramic views of the city. No city offers a better birds-eye view at night than Las Vegas. And on June 12th, 2013, work began on a project called Dinner in the Sky Las Vegas.
All over the world, Dinner in the Sky locations offer a high-flying way for both tourists and residents to enjoy an upscale dinner while taking in panoramic views of the city.
The Las Vegas location will be minutes away from the strip on a nearly 9 acre site.
Slated to open later this summer, the attraction will lift guests up 180 feet in the air.
The minds behind the project along with Director of Customer Experience for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority marked the beginning of the project by digging into the ground with oversized silver spoons.
According to the restaurant's website, "Guests will be hosted by a professional team of Sky chefs, a Maître d' and a master mixologist, offering gourmet cuisine, fine spirits and Four Star-quality service."
As part of the general concept, diners are strapped to their seats with six-point harnesses. How do you like the idea of dining in the sky?
